Trend in 2021: green and smart building materials

On 13rd November, the U.S. presidential election resulted. President-elect Biden won by nearly 100 votes over former President Donald Trump. And of course, Biden will continue the policies of former democratic prime ministers
-    Re-join the Paris Agreement "on Climate Change"
-    Invest in clean energy, preventing emissions that are harmful to the climate.
According to the BCC, he proposed a four-year , $2 trillion package to help the U.S. cut carbon emissions by 2035 and the 2050 national zero-emissions target.
-    Ambition to implement the revolution to replace all electric vehicles and trains, prioritize sustainable homes and develop renewable energy
-   Raise taxes on countries that don't cut emissions
-    Globalization policy, strengthening diplomatic relations.
-    Against racism.
-    It will remain on Trump's policy of ramping up production, not dismissing it.

And of course, Vietnam and other countries have to watch because it is clear that the outcome of the election directly affects the global economy including Vietnam. We pay special attention to the word "Raising taxes on countries that do not cut emissions". And that's what the new president is sure to do throughout his term. Therefore, countries that are cooperating with the US, including Vietnam, must definitely do something to change over time and contribute to reducing climate change.

On November 13, 2020, at the Asian Business and Investment Summit 2020, especially during the discussion on the future of ESG investment orientation in Asia attended by Malaysian Prime Minister Mr. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Ms. Kanni Widnaraja, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Vp Director-General for Asia-Pacific Region;  Hugh Young, Managing Director of Aberdeen Standard Investments Asia;  Mr. Vichien Phongsathorn, Chairman of Premier Group of Companies;  Ms. Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, Director of Sintesa Group; Shuyin Tang, representative of Patamar Capital. The delegates specifically emphasized the meaning and policy of having to do "ESG" which means "ENVIRONMENT - SOCIETY - GOVERNANCE".

On November 15, 2020, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was officially signed within the framework of the 37th ASEAN Summit being held by Vietnam, chair of ASEAN 2020. It is a move that not only demonstrates the criteria of solidarity to build an inclusive sustainable economy, supporting the development of the recent Covid 19 crisis in 15 Asian countries, but also a firm affirmation that Vietnam will make stronger moves towards ESG. So it is clear that green and smart building materials will be the trend and the inevitable of the future.

That's the current trend. Business must go hand in hand with policies to protect the environment, convert energy sources, reduce emissions, green development models, green restoration models, remove barriers to renewable energy, encourage tax mechanisms to develop investments in renewable energy development projects, reduce emissions, turn garbage into electricity...

Why am I saying this here? Because in the near future, the heating material affecting the environment will inevitably become obsolete sooner or later if not banned from mining and production to the market. Because obviously, red bricks, also known as non-fired bricks, are depleting agricultural resources, clay and emissions of CO2 emissions by tons each year. This is too dangerous for human life.

If we don't move with the trend and the times, it will surely be eliminated. That will become real sooner

The level of recent flooding storms in the Central Highlands of Vietnam in particular and the world including 4 wildfires in the Western United States and landstorms in Mexican waters ... in general, is showing the dangerous level of climate change phenomenon. Misses are becoming more and more serious and increasing in number and level.

At the National Conference to review 10 years of implementation of the Program on development of non-fired building materials and the project to promote the treatment and use of slag ash and gypsum on November 6, 2020 organized by the Ministry of Construction. The Ministry of Construction has requested localities to seriously implement the roadmap to remove manual brick kilns, improved craftsmen, continuous standing furnaces, ring furnaces using fossil fuels; limit the approval of investment projects in the production of terracotta bricks.

If each of us does not join hands and thoroughly say no to emissions, what will be the future of humanity?

What materials is your work currently applying? Is it a smart building materials ? Is the building material that I am using enough heat resistance, moisture resistance, has optimized the cost for me? Have you learned about the trend of green building materials?
